As widely announced in recent days, Konami has officially launched  PES 2019 LITE on PS4, Xbox One and PC (Steam).

PES 2019 Lite is a free to play version of the latest football title of the Japanese group that gives access to various online and offline game modes.

Available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, PES 2019 Lite is more than just a demo: the modes in this version of the game include offline show matches, training and a PES League mode that gives way to players to clash in 3 vs. 3 matches in special online tournaments limited time but valid for qualifying at world events. The most interesting mode, however, is MyClub, which allows players to choose the strongest of the present and the past to create the team of their dreams. Finally, in this year’s edition there is also the option to modify teams, players, game kits, stadiums and banners or import items created by other users in the community into their database.

In short, as anticipated PES 2019 Lite is very different from a demo, even if it is much more limited than the full version (and payment of the game).

However, Konami’s initiative will allow all users to download and play PES 2019 for free, but at the same time it will allow developers to make money through in-app purchases. At the same time this strategy will allow Konami to increase the pool of users of PES 2019, which to date (and now for several years) lives in the shadow of FIFA.

In announcing PES 2019 LITE, Konami has been very happy to give a greater opportunity to its title to emerge:

We are happy to announce that the free-to-play version with purchases in the PES 2019 app is now available for download for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC STEAM, and will allow users to try a series of offline and online modes taken from latest version of the series.

As anticipated, the revenue lost from the purchase of the game will come to Konami from another source: in-app purchases, which in any case will not be necessary to play PES 2019 Lite.

WHAT IS AVAILABLE ON PES 2019 LITE

Regarding the modalities included in PES 2019 LITE, we find:

  • MyClub mode, which allows players to contract the current superstars of the world of football and legendary footballers like David Beckham, Diego Maradona and Gabriel Batistuta, as well as Ronaldinho of FC Barcelona, Recoba, Cambiasso, Djorkaeff and Adriano of Inter, with other players that will be added after the launch.
  • Exhibition matches to enjoy a simple offline match playing against a team moved by the computer or against a second player.
  • PES LEAGUE, allowing users to launch the gauntlet of challenge to be the best PES player in the world – both in 1v1 and CO-OP challenges. The PES LEAGUE mode will also allow you to qualify for global events by participating in the limited-time tournaments of the ONLINE CO-OP (3v3) Championship.
  •  “Edit” option, in which users will also be able to customize teams, athletes, game kits, stadiums and banners to their liking

What do you think about PES 2019 Lite? Are you going to try the game or are you already a huge fan of FIFA and are not willing to give an opportunity to this free version of PES 2019?
