We often need to copy texts from some post or story on Instagram and, natively, the social network does not allow us to do so through our smartphones. Do not worry, this is a common problem, but we have a solution. See below how to copy texts from Instagram in just 3 steps and you can easily do this at any time. We also remind you that it is important to be connected to the Internet for this to work. Even so, the procedure is quite easy!

Why copy texts from Instagram?

Typically, copying and pasting text is allowed among multiple applications. But by 2015 Instagram has blocked this feature exclusively in its mobile applications. So we can come across this inconvenience. Sometimes we find useful information in texts of posts or stories on Instagram. Be links to websites, email addresses or physics, things like this.

Copying texts from Instagram can be useful so that we can send them easily through other tools, such as WhatsApp or other message applications. Other than that, texts spend less space on our mobile devices than simply saving a screenshot, for example.

How to Copy Instagram Texts

It is very simple to perform the steps to copy the text of a post, however, first of all, you will need access to the Internet and at least one browser, such as Chrome, Safari, Firefox, installed on your device. Follow the steps below.

Step 1: First, open your Instagram and go directly to the post containing the text you want to copy. Then click the 3-dot button as shown by the arrow below, and then tap Copy Link. We also remind you that Instagram allows you to share the post link or even the entire post directly in WhatsApp if you wish.

Step 2: The second step is to open any browser on your mobile device. Make sure you are connected to the Internet before continuing. This really works with any browser installed on your smartphone. Paste the copied link in Step 1 into the URL box as shown in the image. To do this, simply tap and hold onto it until the Paste button appears. Then, confirm the selection and upload the post.
