2 Methods to add background music in WhatsApp

Despite initial protests, WhatsApp Status ended up being accepted and widely used by users of the world’s most famous messaging application. Operating in a manner similar to Instagram Stories, you can put small snippets of text, images or videos up to 30 seconds to talk about your daily life. But how to put music in WhatsApp Status?

In Instagram, the process is fairly easy for anyone who has a Spotify account or already has the Songs enabled sticker. But the support of the streaming music service does not extend to the messenger. That’s why it’s harder to put music in WhatsApp Status than in Instagram Stories.

But there are two ways to make your favorite songs accompany your WhatsApp Stories posts. See below the full step-by-step how to put music in WhatsApp Status in two different ways!

How to put music in WhatsApp Status: Method 1

1 –  Open your application to listen to music whether online or offline favorite;

2 –  Choose the song you want to use when recording the Status and set it to play. Remember to unplug any headphones that are connected;

3 –  Open the WhatsApp Status;

4 –  Touch the green button;

5 –  Hold the center button to start recording your video. Look at a point in your surroundings that has a single background or leave the camera facing a surface so that no image appears, just the sound, Remember that the songs will only appear in this mode;

6 –  Make the edits you need, insert the caption and click the arrow button to publish your Status with music in WhatsApp.

How to put music in WhatsApp Status: Method 2

While the first method may be considered a problem, it has some counterpoints. The main one is the quality of the music, which has been reduced since the microphone of the cell phones does not capture as well as a professional or when the music is already part of the video.

In the second method, we’ll teach you how to put music in WhatsApp Status more professionally. To do this, we’ll use your native camera app or one of these applications to record videos, as well as a video editing application called DU Recorder. It is available for both Android and iPhone.

The first step is to record your video, just as you did in the previous method, but this time outside WhatsApp Status. But remember that it can have a maximum of 30 seconds in duration.

Then open the DU Recorder and tap the icon in tool format.

Choose  Edit Video;

Select the video you just saved to Status;

Tap the Add Music button;

Click the “+” sign at the bottom of the screen and you can choose a song that is on your cell phone or some of the DU Recorder collection in the Music Online tab. Choose the song you will use;

Tap the Save  button  to download the video you just made;

Now, open WhatsApp and access the status bar, just as you did in steps 3 and 4 of the first method. Swipe up and select the video you’ve edited;

Add any emojis, texts or drawings by WhatsApp Status itself and click the green button to publish your Status with music.
