Obtaining and Configuring the Application

For this app to work, you first need to make some settings on your phone. To do this, simply follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Android Settings screen and enter “About Phone”;
  2. Select “Software Information” and give 7 taps in “Build Number”;
  3. Back in the “Android Settings” screen, enter “Developer Options” and enable the “USB Debugging” function.

Once this process is completed, you must now have access to the computer to download the APK file that installs the required application and configure the internet sharing. Look:

    1. Access this link and download the program “Gnirehtet”;
    2. Extract the contents of the ZIP file to an easily accessible folder;
    3. Now download the ADB tools and extract the “adb.exe, AdbWinApi.dll and AdbWinUsbApi.dll” files to the same “Gnirehtet” folder.

After the steps above, download the APK file to your mobile phone and follow these steps:

  1. Enter a “File Explorer” of your choice and navigate to the folder where the APK file is;
  2. Tap on it and perform its installation. If Android asks you for permission, grant it;
  3. Note that after installing the application, no shortcut will be generated to open it. Keep your phone connected to your computer;
  4. Back to the computer, enter the application folder and run the file “gnirehtet-run”;
  5. On the mobile phone, grant the permission and let the VPN be created.

Ready! At this time, your cell phone will already be accessing the internet using the connection coming from the computer. Remember that the application used above does not interfere with any other configuration of the phone, that is, when you stop using the computer, you return to use your 4G or another connection you have.
