Xiaomi Redmi 7A is official: Snapdragon 439 and Android Pie to surprise at the low end.
Needless to turn around: Redmi 7A is an entry-level race with everything you need. No notch, no screens with high diagonals, but nice and nice design, with some gems that will please its buyers.
The technical sheet does not make a miracle cry, but it is certainly of a good standard.
The HD + screen (720 x 1440) with form factor 18: 9 has no notch and not particularly exaggerated frames.
Under the body, we find a Snapdragon 439 processor, with octa-core CPU at 1.95 GHz, Adreno 505 GPU and two different memory cuts. The base model can count on 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory, the second variant is equipped with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory, in both cases expandable with microSD up to 256 GB.
The photographic sector has a single 13-megapixel rear camera, with LED flash and phase recognition focus, and a 5-megapixel front camera.
The rear camera has the support of artificial intelligence, with scene recognition, while the front camera uses the AI for unlocking with the face and for improving the quality of selfies.
Good connectivity, with dual 4G / VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b / g / n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, dual SIM, FM radio and 3.5mm audio jack.
The 4,000 mAh battery guarantees excellent autonomy and has a 5V / 2A charge, a good step forward compared to Xiaomi Redmi 6A.
The operating system is Android 9 Pie with MIUI 10 interface, while the dimensions are 146.30 x 70.41 x 9.66 mm, with a weight of 150 grams.
The smartphone is made of polycarbonate, to contain costs and weight, a more than an acceptable solution for a smartphone of this category.
Of note the absence of a reader for fingerprints, as well as on the predecessor, while the rear camera is now placed vertically, with the LED flash just below the camera.
