Is PhotoScape 3.7 a good image editor?
Image viewer
The PhotoScape image viewer is nothing special, but it does its job. Accessible in the “Screen” tab, it offers the standard thumbnail preview, along with a list of folders on the side and a larger viewing window, plus some functions for rotating images, viewing EXIF data, and so on.
The maximum size of the thumbnail is very small, and there is no sort option. Each of the other guides in PhotoScape also has its own thumbnail browser, so you probably will not use this guide often, as it is unnecessary.

You can also undo and redo all your actions, and revert the image exactly to a specific point. And when you save your edits, you’ll have the option of backing up the original photo before overwriting it, saving with a new file name, or saving your file to an output folder, often called “Originals.”
In the Lots Editor, you can apply almost all the functions available in the editor to multiple files at once. This includes frames, objects, text, color and tone adjustments, sharpening, resizing and many other effects.
You can review the results before exporting one or all photos with your changes. You can also save the batch editor settings as a configuration file, for later reuse.
Page
The Page module is a multi-page layout tool, with over 100 grid layout options to choose from. Simply drag and drop your photos onto the boxes to create a quick collage.
Individual photos can be moved and scaled to fit the grid boxes, and you can adjust the layout size, add borders, round corners, and apply frames or filters to all photos in the layout. When the layout is complete, it can be saved as a new file or passed to the editor.

- Gif Animation: Create a picture-based, moving picture from multiple photos (GIF).
- Print: Prints image pack layouts or thumbnail contact sheets.
- Divider: Cut your photo into multiple pictures, based on a grid.
- Screenshot: Take a photo of the entire desktop, window, or region of the screen.
- Color Picker: Color samples from anywhere on the screen.
- Raw Converter: A simple converter to save camera raw files, such as JPEGs.
- Rename batch edit file names with custom text, date, time, serial numbers.
Conclusion
It’s really impressive the ability of this photo editor without sacrificing ease of use and fluidity. But that does not save you from having some shortcomings. In some places, we noticed Korean characters in some dialog boxes, and sometimes the language was not very clear in the description of the functions. The program is also limited to working with only one document at a time, so if you want to change the photo you are working on, you will need to save and close the current file or open another window with the program.
This also means that you can not make more advanced edits, such as a montage of photos with multiple images fading into each other. Although there are some editing tools at the pixel level, they are quite limited.
