Although this feature in Windows works well for most cases, the solution to create a user is not very practical if the person in question will use your machine only once.

What is the guest account for?
Unlike a Windows secondary account, the person who uses a guest account can access the computer without having to set a password. However, administrators and other users of the computer will have more security in other respects, since the guest will not have access to the documents present on the computer as files and settings. In addition, it will not be able to install applications either.
Enabling Guest Account
Activating this account in Windows 10 is not as simple as in previous versions since it is a little more hidden and in a not very usual way for system configurations. Here’s how to turn it on:
- Press the “Win + R” keys and enter the command: compmgmt.msc;
- From the menu located in the left part of the window, navigate to this path: “System Tools> Local Users and Groups> Users”;
- Double-click on “Guest”;
- Uncheck the “Account disabled” option and click “Apply> Ok”;
- If you wish, right-clicking on the “Guest” name allows you to set a password for it.
At this time, the “Guest” account is now ready to be used. To do this, at the time of computer startup, simply choose the option “Other user” and enter the name “Guest”. Depending on your user settings, “Guest” may appear in the list itself, avoiding the trouble of typing your credentials manually.
Extra configuration for domain machines
Setting up a “Guest” account is not recommended for cases of networked computers that are part of a local domain. However, if you want to perform the steps shown above, you must edit the local group policy by removing the “Guest” access block.
