Devil May Cry 5 is the new chapter in the Capcom series. The Capcom action game is directed by Hideaki Itsuno and most of the developers who had been part of the original Devil May Cry team, so a tradition-oriented title is on the way.
“It’s been years since the legions of hell have set foot in this world and now a new demonic invasion has begun, with the last hope of humanity left in the hands of three hunters of solitary demons. Each of these is characterized by a completely different style of play. United by fate and the thirst for revenge, these demon hunters must now face the invasion in the hope of survival”.
The issue starts from the seeds of a demonic tree that are planted in Red Grave City, hence the infernal invasion that attracts the attention of Nero, demon hunter and ally of Dante, now devoid of his demonic arm that was a source of much of his power. There is also Dante, son of Sparda, who seeks revenge for the corruption of his brother and the death of his mother.
The three playable characters (the third is not mentioned in the official release but could be Vergil) offer three radically different fighting styles and the game is based on Capcom’s new RE Engine.
