After some time using a browser, the auto-fill function in the browser’s address bar begins to understand your habits and starts filling in the address bar automatically for easy typing. However, this is not always desirable, for many reasons.
It’s easy to delete all auto-suggestion URLs, but that could slow you down a lot. But you can dispense with irritating addresses while keeping all the other useful ones you use in Chrome, Firefox, and Edge. Here’s how to proceed:

In Chrome
To delete a single suggested URL automatically, start typing the address as you normally would – Google.com in my example. Then when the unwanted autofill suggestion appears, use the arrow keys on your keyboard to highlight the hint in the drop-down menu below the address bar. Finally, press Shift + Delete and you’re done! The suggestion disappears.
Firefox Browser
The same basic concept used to exclude autocomplete suggestions in Chrome also applies to Firefox. Start typing the URL, then highlight the URL with a typo in the drop-down menu when it appears.
This time, just press the Delete button to clear the wrong entry. In newer versions of Firefox, when you delete a highlighted entry, it still remains in the address bar, but you can get rid of it by selecting the entire address with the mouse and clicking backspace.
Internet Explorer or Edge Browser
There is no reliable way to automatically delete suggested URLs from Microsoft Edge because if it is in the latest version, the addresses can only be deleted by the traditional setup menu. In Microsoft Explorer, when you highlight an address in the drop-down menu, you will see an “x” on the right side. Click this ‘x’ to delete the URL.
