In the past few hours, Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment have unveiled Apex Legends, defined by the development team as “the most innovative and fun battle-style shooter of all time“.

Apex Legends is set in the universe of Titanfall but on the battlefields the presence of the Titans is not expected, the mighty Mechs that have characterized the first two chapters of the popular franchise. The new battle royale offers some of the features that made the genre famous, but also introduces some new features.

Players will then be able to choose their character from a list of criminals, soldiers, outcasts and misanthropes, each with unique abilities and special equipment. You fight in a vast map capable of hosting up to 60 players divided into teams of three elements and the goal will be to annihilate the rival teams and become the “Legends of the Frontier”.

To survive the Apex Games, you have to think quickly. Improve your legend’s abilities, make strategic demands and take advantage of your team’s strengths when the going gets tough. Try the new evolution of the battle royale! Retract transmitters to resurrect your teammates, smart comm to communicate, an intelligent inventory to take only what you need and a new way to get into action with the deployment of the Jumpmaster. Complete all seasons to unlock new legends, weapons, themed loot and much more.

As for prices, however, the game is free.

The title is available in free to play on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC as a result can be downloaded for free from the online stores of the respective platform. Apex Legends contemplates a system of microtransactions, cosmetic objects and there are the Seasons that allow you to unlock new legends, weapons, themed loot and much more. Please note that Xbox Live Gold and PlayStation Plus subscriptions are required on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 to play Apex Legends.
