All Android secret codes you should Know

Your Android device contains a large amount of information about your hardware and system that an average user may find difficult to access. But if you know Android’s secret codes, you can reset the device to the factory, find out the hidden information of the camera, make an instant backup of your data and much more.

Secret codes of the Android system

Some “secret” codes are Android system codes, and usually start with an asterisk or a hash symbol/tag. These do not require that you are connected to a network to use them, since they are only for the Android system of your device. These codes are updated regularly as new versions of the Android software are released, and some manufacturers have their own additional special codes.

The code entry procedure is very simple and only requires the keypad to appear and enter the appropriate number sequence. It is important to keep in mind that some codes are specific to the provider, so they will not work on all devices.  So, if your phone does not respond to a code, do not worry, just go ahead and find another one.

Warning! These codes should be used with caution. They can make your phone lose data or make it useless. There is a lot of incomprehensible technological jargon that appears in the menus after entering some of these codes, which means that if you are not 100% sure of what you are doing, do not do it.

List of secret codes for Android
