Here are the Android smartphones compatible with Fortnite at 60 fps

Fortnite finally runs at 60 fps on Android, but not on all phones. Here are the Android smartphones compatible with Fortnite at 60 fps

Fortnite 60 fps on Android

Needless to deny it: Fortnite is the game of the moment and now for months is the most used title on smartphones, tablets and consoles.

Personally I do not play at Fortnite, but I think I’m one of the few in the world that has not yet been overwhelmed by this fun and addictive game, which among other things is available completely free for all users.

However, in this article I do not want to talk about the success of Fortnite, but I simply want to tell you which models of Android smartphones that allow you to use the game at 60 fps.

Thanks to a recent update, in fact,  Fortnite can run at 60 fps on some Android devices, just like on iPhone. While on iPhone the 60 fps have been available for months, on Android only at the end of January 2019 this new feature was introduced. And, as expected, only the latest and most powerful Android phones can push Fortnite to 60 fps.

What are the Android phones compatible with Fortnite at 60 fps?

Without wasting your time, I’ll tell you right away that these 3 Android devices are currently compatible with Fortfite at 60 fps:

  • HONOR View20
  • Huawei Mate 20 X
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 9 US (SM-N960U / U1).

Other smartphones will come in the future, in fact Epic said that it will work with other manufacturers to extend the support to their devices.

At the moment, however, only these 3 Android phones allow you to play Fortnite at 60 fps, with all the advantages of the case.

To take advantage of this news, among other things, you will need to install Fortnite 7.30 on your Android version released only a couple of days ago.

The advantages of Fortnite at 60 FPS

But why are 60fps on Fortnite so important? What are they for? What are the advantages of 60 fps on Fortnite?

Without going into too much detail, I can tell you that with 60 fps you get:

  • clear improvement in terms of graphics (and this is an objective fact)
  • some argue that with the 60 fps you get advantages during the game and then you can defeat opponents more easily. Obviously it is to be confirmed, but it seems that on smartphones, Switch and PC perform less than 30 fps result in a lower rate of fire of 5.2% for the Assault Rifles (in practice, the players at 30 fps impart a smaller number of damage than those playing at 60 fps). But this is to be officially confirmed.

While the second point is yet to be formalized, the advantage of graphics remains much better, at 60 fps.

Too bad that at the moment only very few Android smartphones support 60 fps on Fortnite. We hope others will arrive as soon as possible.

I remind you that you can download Fortnite Mobile for Android from the Epic website and that the game only works on compatible devices.

For this news it’s all. Have fun!
