Access WebPages that are open on phone on Chrome PC

Google Chome is one of the most popular browsers, being used on both the computer and mobile phones. Given its versatility, you may want to make it easier to continue to access content on another device where the same browser is used.

Previously, in order to access the tabs that were on the cell phone or on the computer when switching devices, it was necessary for the site to enter the browsing history, but fortunately this process has been modified and can now be done in real time. Here’s how to access the tabs that are open in Chrome from your mobile phone on your computer, and vice versa:

Setting up Chrome on your computer and mobile

Before you start the step-by-step, you need to say that to perform the procedure below you will need to have a Google account. It is required for data to remain in the cloud and communication between devices can occur. That said, follow the steps to set up Google Chrome on your computer:

  1. Open Google Chrome on your computer, and when you click on an “Avatar” icon, go to “Sign in”;
  2. Log in with the same Google account you use on your phone;
  3. In the message that appears, click “Enable.”

At this point, the computer browser is already properly configured. However, in the mobile phone, it is recommended to check if the synchronization is already active, just for precaution. Here’s how:

  1. Open Google Chrome and touch the icon represented by “three points”;
  2. Go into “Settings” and see “Synchronizing with” at the top of the screen. If it is not, just click on your email and check the option “Sync Chrome”.

On Android devices, synchronization is usually already active. On iOS, you may need to sign in with your Google account and turn on sync manually.

Accessing the sites on both devices

  1. Touch the icon represented by “three points”, go to “History” and look for the name of your cell phone.

Although it stays in the same place as before, it is no longer necessary for a site to enter your history for you to access it on your computer. Already the process for mobile, is also very simple to be realized. Check out:

  1. In Google Chrome, click the icon for “three points” and go to “Recent Guides”. In it, look for the computer name and the tabs will be just below it.

Ready! Although the process looks like it was previously done, there is no longer a time slot for you to access something that was being viewed on another device. Remember, if you have more than one cell phone, you can also access the tabs that were left open on the other device.
